3D-printer på hovedbiblioteket

Innhold

Her står det informasjon om 3D-printeren som står på hovedbiblioteket.

The Bambu Lab A1 mini is a Cartesian 3D printer designed for ease of use and high-quality printing. Below is a summary of its key features, specifications, and operational details:

1. Key Specifications

Build Volume: 180 x 180 x 180 mm³.
Max Temperatures: Hotend up to 300 °C; Heatbed up to 80 °C.
Noise Level: Approximately 48 dB in silent mode.
Power Consumption: Average of 57 W during printing; 6 W in idle mode.
Storage: Requires a microSD card (up to 2TB supported) as it has no built-in memory.

2. Core Features

Full-Auto Calibration: Supports automatic bed leveling (6x6 grid) and vibration compensation. It also features Motor Noise Cancellation to reduce mechanical noise during operation.
Active Flow Rate Compensation: Calibrates the flow rate (K value) by detecting extrusion force variations during the purging process.
Toolhead Design: Features a quick-swap hotend system, allowing for easy nozzle changes without tools. It comes with a 0.4mm stainless steel nozzle.
Multi-Color Printing: Compatible with AMS lite, allowing for up to 4-color printing.
Sensors: Includes a filament Hall sensor for runout detection and a filament entanglement sensor in the filament hub.

3. Material Compatibility

Recommended: PLA, PETG, TPU, and support materials (PVA, HIPS).
Not Recommended: ABS, ASA, PC, PA, and PET (due to the open-frame design and limited bed temperature).
CF/GF Filaments: Can be printed if the stainless steel nozzle is replaced with a hardened steel nozzle.

4. User Interface & Connectivity

Screen: Controlled via a touchscreen interface for file management, maintenance, and settings.
Software: Fully integrates with Bambu Studio (desktop) and Bambu Handy (mobile app) for remote monitoring and control.
Camera: Includes a built-in camera for real-time monitoring and time-lapse recording.

5. Maintenance & Setup

Startup: Requires a simple unboxing and calibration process (approx. 12 minutes).
Cleaning: The extruder and hotend are designed for easy access. Regular cleaning of the extruder gears and the PEI build plate (with warm water and soap) is recommended.
Space Requirement: Ensure approximately 390 mm of clearance for the heatbed's Y-axis movement.
